Your Flat Stanley came all the way to my City
Kamakura and Hiroshima, Japan
Flat Stanley had a great visit to Japan.
He visited a temple and saw a guardian statue.

He went to Hiroshima and visited the Itsukushimajinja shrine. The shrine was built in 593 and has been declared a World Cultural Heritage site.

He found a lot of Japanese Whiskey barrels, but did not drink any.

He met a Japanese deer. The deer was friendly and liked Flat Stanley.

He visitied Kintaikyo Bridge. This bridge was built in 1673 using traditional Chinese/Japanese construction methods the did not use nails or screws.

Thank you to Yasuyo Yuasa for this great tour of Japan.
